Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Decompirate ("we", "us") for your use of decomPirate (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

1. What the service does

decomPirate analyses two programs you upload, using decompilers, and an AI coding agent then writes a new program based on your instructions. The agent is told to write its own original code and to use the analysed programs only as evidence of how features work. Output is generated by AI and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing, testing and securing anything you use.

2. Your account

3. What you may upload

Each time you start a build you confirm that you own both programs, or have the right to analyse them for the purpose you describe (for example interoperability, maintaining software you licensed, or security research permitted by law). You must not upload software protected by DRM or copy protection, or use the service to get around licensing or security measures. Our acceptable use policy is part of these terms.

4. Your output

As between you and us, you own the program the service writes for you. You are responsible for making sure your use of it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We don't claim any rights in your uploads or output beyond what we need to run the service.

5. Credits, plans and payment

6. Referrals

Referral credits are granted when someone you invite makes their first payment. Self-referrals and referral abuse void the reward, and we may remove credits obtained that way.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the acceptable use policy, and may remove output linked to that misuse. You can close your account at any time.

8. Notices of infringement

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, contact us at the contact address on our website with the details. We review every notice and act on valid ones.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes before they take effect. Questions: the contact address on our website.
