Privacy policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
Decompirate runs decomPirate. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a scrambled (hashed) form of your password.
- Billing: your plan, credit history and a Stripe customer reference. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Builds: the two files you upload, your instructions, the build log and the program written for you.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a referral cookie if you followed an invite link, and server logs (IP address, pages requested) kept for security.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded files are deleted as soon as the build ends, whether it succeeds or not.
- The program written for you is kept for 14 days so you can download it, then deleted.
- Account and billing records are kept while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Who processes it for us
- Anthropic — the AI model that writes your program receives the analysed code and your instructions for that build.
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Railway — hosting and the database.
We don't sell your data and don't use your uploads or output to train AI models.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data. Contact the contact address on our website. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs: the sign-in session cookie and, when you arrive from an invite link, a referral cookie for 30 days. No advertising or tracking cookies.
